Here is my baby girl after a week of being sick, so happy to finally be eating food again! she might have gone a bit over board..
So we went to the beach, by request of Diego, he wanted to go find rocks for me.
He stayed clothed for all of the 5 seconds that we were off the board walk, he saw some teenagers taking their shoes off and so he wanted his off. So I helped him out, and then sat down to take mine off, and when I turned around, he was stripping down. I asked him ' What are you doing?' he said, ' I am going swimming!' hehehe.. no it didn't happen..

Here I broke his soul by telling him that he wasn't going to go into the water.
What the heck! he is going for it any way, while I am busy taking his photo..
Or not.. the water looked a bit scarier up close.
Maybe he will just do the stripping part..
What a beautiful place we live in.. we are about 20 mints away by car from this beach.

The water was coming to get him! what do you expect! you run like hell!
Maybe the water wasn't coming after all..
Holly @#$%! Run!
Foot Prints of my little cave man.
The man behind the foot prints..

My little man giving me a sea shell * wipes a tear away * he is just like his mama... ( I love sea shells )
I love the ocean, and I think Diego does too by his comments.. he started throwing kisses at the sea and saying ' I love you Ocean!' he did the same on the ride home.

One of my favorite photos of these two of all times.. so much fun.

Guacamole Recepie
My Guacamole Recepie:
Serves six to eight
INGREDIENTS:
. 4 medium tomatoes
. 4 ripe avocados ( squish them a little, if they are squishable they are perfect, if they are too firm, it won't work )
. juice of 1 lime
. 1/2 small onion
. 2 garlic cloves
. small bunch of cilantro, chopped ( the one at the party didn't have any cilantro )
.3 fresh red fresco chiles ( the one at the party didn't have any chiles, too spicy for me )
. salt to taste
. ¼ tsp ground cumin
.2 table spoons of sour cream
1. Cut a cross in the bottom of each tomato. Place the tomatoes in a heatproof bowl and pour in boiling water to cover.
2. Leave the tomatoes in the water for 3 mints, then lift them out using a slotted spoon and plunge them into a bowl of cold water. Drain. The skins will have begun to peel back from the crosses. Remove the skins completely. Cut the tomatoes in half, remove the seed s with a teaspoon, then chop the flesh roughly and set it aside.
3. Cut the avocados in half, then remove the pits. Scoop the flesh out of the shells and cut the avocados into small square pieces, stir in the lime juice and sour cream.
4. Chop the-onion finely, then crush the garlic. Add both to the avocado and mix well with a wooden spoon. Stir in cilantro. Mix in the tomatoes.
5. Check the seasoning and add salt to taste. Cover closely with plastic wrap or a tight-fitting lid and chill for 1 hour before serving. If it's well covered Guacamole will keep in the fridge for 2 to 3 days.
Enjoy!

May 24th and 25th - Still stuck at home
May 24, 2007 - Still sick..
Here we were still stuck at home... Danielita was still very sick at this point, not that you can tell from her photos, she always tries so hard to be happy.

Diego saw me going through his birthday presents and he needed to put this outfit on right away. Here is he modeling it for the camera, he also was doing a funky little dance with the modeling.

Danielita saw me unloading the dishwasher and ran over ( crawled over) to help! she was so cute, she kept pulling things out and handing them to me with a huge smile, ofcourse everything she touched had to be washed again, but who cares, I got some great shots of her! sooo sweet, my little helper.

May 25, 2007 - still sick..
She wasn't sleeping any way, so I decided to take some photos, this week she has been sleeping and napping with this Dora doll, the doll is very soft and she is in love with it. She calls it baby or mama, and holds her against her cheek, it's the sweetest thing ever. I love that she is getting attached to dollies and stuffed animals.

First of all let me say thank you to my inlaws for getting us this ' Moon Sand ' so I won't sound so ungreatful, and then let me tell you! it's hell to clean up!!! so don't buy it just yet for your little ones, I swear he even had it in his diaper! and it's still in his high chair. Having said all that, he had so much fun and it kept him busy for a while. ;) Oh and what ever fell in the floor, I wasn't fast enough to clean it up, Daniela ate more than I like to admit of it, aparently is not toxic.. unless you count floresent yellow poop as toxic.
This was so funny, Diego ran into the kitchen and said ' I have glasses too!' I turned around and this is what I saw, hehehe, I made him pose for me for this photo.

Playing together with the toy kitchen. So I guess my week wasn't so bad after all, there were some good times ;) thanks to my babies.
